First opened in September 2022 as a 'Warm Space', our Community Cafe welcomes up to 65 people every Thursday from 10am
We provide hot and cold food and drinks, a warm welcome space, games, puzzles, books, free parking, free WiFi, accessible toilets and the opportunity to meet with friends or make new ones.
Our Cafe has featured on both BBC Spotlight and ITV News Westcountry (you can watch the videos below) and in local newspapers. Open year round, the cafe is free and open to everyone.
Proudly supported by Volunteer Cornwall, Cornwall Council Community Chest Fund and the Proceeds of Crime Act Fund. Registered as a Warm Welcome space and a Place of Welcome.
Please join us! You can come along alone or with friends and we promise you will be made to feel welcome. The cafe is run by the Nancegollan Village Hall committee and other volunteers.

'I love coming to the Cafe because of the Warm Welcome. My life was quite lonely beforehand and now Thursdays are very important to me. I have made so many friends and would be lost without it'
'A place to look forward to coming to on a Thursday to meet friends and new people for a chat. It gets you out and is a very pleasant experience'
'As a 'drop in visitor', we are blown away by the welcome and warm conversation. The food is amazing too! Well done. Village facilities like this are like gold dust in such a busy, sometimes unfriendly world'
'A nice bit of chat with lovely people. I've met neighbours I didn't know I had'
'I enjoy the friendship. I drive 4 miles to get here'
