I moved to Cornwall from NZ in 2014 and am the co-owner of Praze Village Shop. Most of my free time is spent with my beloved dogs. Chair since 2019 I have been thrilled to be a part of the growth and success of the Hall alongside a fabulous committee.

At home, my partner and I run our farm with a pedigree herd of Ruby Red Devon cattle and we also have holiday lets.
In my spare time, I enjoy cold water swimming, yoga and of course exploring new walks with my faithful Flat Coated Retriever, Duke.
I look forward to hearing from you if you have an enquiry or would like to book the hall for your event.

My background is in the performing arts having worked as a ballet teacher, community dance worker, festival producer and event coordinator. Now the co-owner of Praze Village Shop, a volunteer for We Are With You and a committee member for 4 years, I love to see the Hall buzzing with activity, bringing the community together in a supportive and welcoming environment.
I am the Treasurer and the main contact for the Christmas Market and Village Show - the latter having been founded and coordinated by my mother for the last 24 years.

I have been a committee member for several years. Formally a teacher, but now retired, I have recently trained as a health care worker to be able to assist members of our community.

I’ve lived on the outskirts of Nancegollan all my life and am very proud of my Cornish roots. Three generations of my family have been linked to the former chapel/village hall. My grandparents were strict Methodists, my Mum, Dad and I were regular chapel attendees and now I’m a Village Hall committee member. I am a retired Veterinary Scientific Officer and now spend, according to my family, a lot of time in and around the hall! The building has always been the heart of the community and I believe the hall is still an integral part of village life, bringing together people of all ages. The hall is an important asset for the whole community, building connections and providing vital and diverse activities to improve the quality of peoples lives.

Having recently retired from the NHS I now spend more time out and about in my home village of Praze getting to know everyone and looking to take part in local activities. I started playing table tennis at Nancegollan Village Hall making many new friends there, and am now a committee member and enthusiastic events contributer. My role is to design, print and distribute posters and flyers for future events, and also put my artistic skills towards making items like the mock fireplace for Santa's grotto last year, and the Nativity window. I look forward to contributing to future events.
As the Crowan Parish Council is the trustee for the village hall I am the appointed representative.
